• Anniversary of the XX-th CPSU Congress in the USA

  According to the author in the United State the attitude to N.S. Khrushchev is better then in Russia. This, in particular, had an affect on the attention to fiftieth anniversary of the XX-th CPSU congress. In the article conferences held in New York and Washington on this occasion are commented on. N. Khrushcheva also describes how American researchers use psychological hypothesis trying to explain certain political decisions of that time. Besides, the author raises a problem of how far it was possible to reveal Stalinism and communism at large in 1956.
