The journal Politeia strictly adheres to the generally accepted standards of publication ethics recommended by The Committee on Publication Ethics (http://publicationethics.org/). The editorial board of Politeia strongly expects the same from its staff, current and potential authors, reviewers, and from all other parties concerned. The editorial board of Politeia reserves the right to determine the order and strength of the reaction to any violation of the declared standards (yet it will never ignore the occurred fact).

Politeia will not tolerate any form of plagiarism. Incorrect citations detected in materials submitted to the editorial board, regardless of their recurrence and amount, automatically cause the refusal of publication and lead to the termination of any further cooperation with the author/author collective. If any type of wrongful appropriation has been revealed in the already published article, it does terminate any further cooperation with the author/author collective. The editorial board publishes the disclaimer and apologies thereupon.

Politeia only accepts the original papers. Informed in advance, it may consider the materials partially published as conference papers, work reports and formats alike; the already published papers are considered only as they are preprints. If a self-plagiarized paper (“recycling fraud”) has been published in Politeia, it terminates any further cooperation with the author/author collective. The editorial board publishes the disclaimer and apologies thereupon.

Any further use of materials published in Politeia (e.g., in another language, or as a book chapter/part) is expected to be only with the reference to the original publication.

The publication in Politeia is never subjected to a fee. Never, ever, come hell or high water.
