• The countries of the “G-8”, their place in the international policy

  The article covers the analysis of the widely used but little studied phenomenon of modern international policy, which is the “G-8”. The author takes an attempt to determine its role in the world arena, its functions (for example, in socio-economic and international political spheres) and its efficiency. V. Lukov also touches upon such problems as the relationships of the “G-8” and international organizations, the future of the “club” and the prospects of Russia’s participation in it.
